KRJ Resoarces
KRJ Resources is where transitioning the aspiring student is our key focus. And we have been making waves! We recently partnered with Junior Achievement, a national nonprofit organization, to create a scholarship program supporting financial literacy and Gallup, an analytic company who helps leaders and organizations operate in their fullest potential creating opportunities, for our career assessment.
Last October we started the first 7-month Blueprint for Success cohort of sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all over Chicago. The students were visited by a 5 guest college panel that consisted of current students, graduates, master level graduates, college professor and a seasoned college graduate, Mrs. Tiffany Evans, who is married and working in her field sharing their REAL & RAW college experiences. The cohort is now in full swing, preparing for their upcoming capstone projects in May 2020 where they will complete their program in our shared space with KTG Technologies. Youth have been able to walk away with new tools to put in their toolbox to start using immediately towards independent young adult living and creating a Blueprint for their successes.
We recently started a new cohort at Old Landmark Church in Chicago, IL for juniors and seniors, and we can't wait to see how things develop!
